Closely related to our cammed Firewing sail, the Fire is the no cam racer that will blow your mind. Incredible stability and top end control, but easy to use thanks to the camless design. Rigging, waterstarting and gybing are all made easy but nothing is compromised towards absolute top end speed and control. Modifications to the leech twist and the outline means the Fire has a huge range, giving drive at the bottom end and unlimited control at the top.
For the sailor that wants easy rigging and easy sailing, but at the same time top end performance. Perfect for the Firestorm or even the X-fire.

Since its birth 5 years ago the Firewing has been about allowing everyone to reach his/her maximum speed potential. From blasting with your friends, setting records on the Namibia speed track and World Cup slaloms, the Firewing gives top level performance in an easy to use package. Softer and more forgiving than its rivals, the Firewing allows the rider to forget about the sail and focus on going fast. The Mk5 has seen huge amounts of development refining the luff curve and leech twist. The result has seen a huge increase in control, particularly in choppy conditions, whilst also increasing the low end power. Top speed remains the key feature whatever RRD board you ride.
**RTS (RaceTuningSystem)– Sold separately, the RTS Race Tuning System is an upgrade package converting an off the shelf Firewing into a 4 cam racer. With the addition of an extra camber as well as a new custom designed batten set, the weight is further reduced and the top end can be pushed even further for the ultimate speedsters.**
