Once again, Peru delivers with amazing conditions. The battle for the 2019 IWT Wave crown really heats up with these results. With Morgan taking a first place here, he is now catching up with Antoine who took a second place and missed his chance to secure the title before The Aloha Classic (Oct 27-Nov 9, Ho'okipa, Maui, Hawai'i). The AC will be the perfect arena for these two super talents to battle with the whole world watching every move!

In the battle for 3rd and 4th, we saw Takara Ishii take down the legendary Camille Juban, putting the 18 year old Ishii on the podium in 3rd. This young rider from Omaezaki Japan is more and more looking like a future champion.

In the woman’s draw things got really interesting as we saw Maria Andres, take the first place in an overwhelming performance during the final. This victory puts her in the lead and for the first time all year relegated Arrianne Aukes to 2nd overall. Aukes fought to keep her number one position but in the end was unable to match Maria's new and rapidly improving aerial game on the wave. Aukes was left with a third place after former tour champion Sarah Hauser's performance grew stronger and stronger as the event went on with her last wave in the Pro Women's final the one that made the difference. With that buzzer beater she managed to nose past Arrianne but it wasn’t quite enough to knock down Maria from the big podium, taking a second place here at Pacasmayo.
